Akshay Kumar's Avatar as Lord Shiva Sparks Controversy

New Delhi: The highly anticipated movie ‘Oh My God 2,’ directed by Amit Rai, is scheduled to release on August 11, offering fans a unique pairing of Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi on the big screen.

However, the film has encountered a major issue due to controversies surrounding Akshay Kumar’s portrayal of Lord Shiva. According to recent reports, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has demanded 35 cuts in the movie, and there is a significant change in Akshay Kumar’s character. Instead of portraying Lord Shiva, Akshay’s character will now be depicted as a messenger of Lord Shiva.

Despite these challenges, the movie’s trailer is set to release on social media, and fans are eagerly awaiting its arrival. Akshay Kumar expressed his gratitude on Instagram and shared the happy news about the trailer’s release.
