What Was Found in Alyssa Altobelli’s Autopsy Report?

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner has made public the autopsy results for the victims of the January 26 helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, which claimed the lives of Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant, and seven other people.

The reports came out over four months after the catastrophe that claimed the lives of helicopter pilot Ara Zobayan, passengers Alyssa Altobelli, Payton Chester, Sarah Chester, John Altobelli, and Christina Mauser.

The incident happened while the victims were making their way to a basketball game at the Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks.

In a professional but uncompromising manner, autopsies detail the victims’ broken bones, dismembered body parts, and the lingering smell of burned fuel on their clothing.

Along with Christina Mauser, who helped John Bryant coach his daughter’s basketball team, and John Altobelli, who coached baseball at Orange Coast College, were also klled were Sarah Chester and her daughter Payton.

The coroner discovered evidence that suggested the helicopter may have struck a mountain before skipping briefly and coming to rest close to a hiking route. Some of the bodies from the plane’s passengers were discovered up to 100 yards distant, and the impact crater the crash left behind was 24 by 15 feet.

The only bodies found within the main cabin of the aircraft were those of Alyssa Altobelli and Christina Mauser. Kobe Bryant’s body was found in the dirt south of the main debris. About 100 yards north of the collision, Gianna Bryant’s body was found in a gully that was overgrown with vegetation.

The 28th of January saw the discovery that all nine victims had died as a result of blunt force trauma. The results of the autopsy revealed that an accident was the cause of death.

Alyssa was a dependable companion and potential school researcher who belonged to Kobe Bryant. The guardians of Alyssa, John and Keri Altobelli, died in the helicopter accident as well.
