The San Diego Police Homicide Unit is currently investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred within an apartment in East Village.
San Diego Police Department (SDPD) officers responded to a call in the 600 block of 14th Street shortly after 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The call was made by a man who had discovered his roommate in the apartment, covered in blood and unresponsive.
The victim, an unidentified male, sustained multiple stab wounds on his body. Despite efforts by medical personnel to save him, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
It has been revealed that an individual within the apartment building was taken into custody by the police, being considered a potential suspect in connection with the incident.
