Is the second season of That ’90s Show officially renewed?
It seems there has been some confusion – Upload is an Amazon Prime Video original series, not a Netflix series. The recent announcement you mentioned about That ’90s Show getting a second season is for a completely separate show on Netflix.
Upload has not yet been renewed for a 3rd season on Amazon Prime Video. The first two seasons premiere exclusively on Prime Video, but season 3 has not been confirmed yet.
My apologies for any confusion, but Upload and That ’90s Show are two different shows on two different streaming platforms. Upload is still awaiting an official renewal and release date for season 3 on Amazon Prime Video specifically. Let me know if I can clarify or provide any other details!

What will be the plot of That ’90s Show Season 2?
While specific details regarding the plot of Season 2 of “That ’90s Show” remain shrouded in secrecy, it’s reasonable to anticipate a continuation of the storyline from Season 1. Given that the series unfolds during the summer months, as observed by SlashFilm, it’s likely that Season 2 will feature a time jump, bringing us into the year 1996 following the events of Season 1, which transpired in 1995. Co-creator Gregg Mettler expressed his enthusiasm for returning to Point Place for another summer filled with laughter and unexpected twists.
Terry Turner, co-creator of “That ’90s Show” and one of the original minds behind “That ’70s Show,” explained that the decision to set the series exclusively during the summer serves to eliminate the school and classroom aspect, which wasn’t as captivating in the original show.
Who all will make the star cast of That ’90s Show Season 2?

Additionally, there is the possibility that secondary characters such as Topher Grace as Eric Forman, Laura Prepon as Donna Pinciotti, Wilmer Valderrama as Fez, and Andrea Anders as Sherri Runck may make brief returns.
The first season of the show featured cameo appearances by Tommy Chong, Don Stark, Ashton Kutcher, and Mila Kunis, leaving the door open for potential returns in Season 2. Gregg Mettler, co-creator, executive producer, and showrunner, confirmed in an interview that the series would continue to incorporate cameos from the original cast while exploring new characters and navigating the evolving landscape of technology, music, and social changes.
